425 port FI engine whats it worth?

I have a chance to buy a 425 port fuel injected engine with the computer and all complete air cleaner to starter motor. This is out of a 1977 Eldorado. The fellow that has it claims it has only 18,000 miles on it, humm, anyway the frame of the car was red tagged by New York State, so the engine was pulled, the transaxle sold and the car scrapped. The guy that has it was going to use it in a street rod. The price is $450.00 is it worth it?

My reply on the Modified Cadillac board was before I knew it had FI.  You can get some money if the system is complete.  Still about break even on the whole deal.  Unless you really just want the FI I would pass on it in favor of a 472 or 500.  The heads would be a decent swap on your 500 for a little more compression.
