A few years back in the Self Starter, there was a short article about using a Mercedes Benz rubber seal, that fit properly and would last longer. Part number was given.  Id like to get one of these seals, but am unable to find the article in my back issues.  Does anyone know this part number?  Thank you Jack Basom #1610

The Mercedes seal number is 0019971241. The part name is
 Ring,general plastic. I probably have 4,000 miles on the MB  seal in my 41. I still have a small leak about the size of a dime that develops after a long drive, much better than the original type seal that is in my 47.
