Hello to fellow 1940 60s owners,
Steele Rubber does not have a listing for the front stabilizer bushings for our car. I took a chance and ordered the ones they listed for 1954-1960 (all series), p/n 70-0627-33, and found that they are a perfect match.
If your old ones are like mine were (hard, dried out with an enlarged hole), this is an easy upgrade to your front suspension.
And yes, you can work the new bushings, which are not split, over the ends of the bar.
