WTB Trunk Lock Assy - 39 LaSalle

I need a trunk lock assembly - especially the base and the small section that surrounds the license plate lens.  See attached picture for what I need.  While not needed for my recently restored car, need this for a friend.  Please email if anything is available.  Some pitting is OK, as long as base can be rechromed.   The same from a 1940 LaSalle will also probably fit, but I am not sure.    Bump - still looking for these parts for a friend of mine.  He has an extra 1939 LaSalle hood release ornament and/or horn button to trade (not to sell) for these parts.  Hood release ornament is OK, but needs plated.  I think the smaller series 1939 Cadillac also has this same trunk base and bulb cover.  First picture shows my present car with these pieces visible.  Second picture shows a 1939 Cadillac which appears to have the same setup on center of trunk.  The picture of the Cadillac was taken at Hershey in fall of 2006.

Thanks for the info on the 3rd brake light.  I am not aware that this existed in 1939 as a dealer installed option, but would like to know, as I am on the committee for an upcoming authenticity manual for the 1939 and 1940 LaSalle and so far we have no info on such a light as being available in 1939 or 1940.  Was it an option in 1939 or 1940 or several years later?  Since my car has brake lights (and concealed turn signal lights inside the tail light housings) I do not have any interest in the light, but for the sake of others, it would be nice if you could post a picture.  Someone else might be interested in making a purchase. Also where does it mount and how is it attached to the body?  Thanks,
