Here's the nicest pair of 60 Coupe/Convertible long quarter panel moldings available on the planet, without a single tiny ding. These are in fantastic condition. They're a mile long, the longest Caddy moldings of all time. 99 inches that have survived a half century without a single tiny parking lot ding! No car wash scratching either, super shine. I soaked them in dish soap for 24 hours before washing the desert dirt off to avoid scratching. The front pushin studs are intact. The rears were just plain wing clips, available.  I called 6 different Caddy parts houses from Ed on down, I could not find a single perfect one in the entire world. So, here's the nicest pair available in the universe. These are VERY easy to remove and replace, you do not have to pull any interior or other problems.  $1500.
71 Olds 98 LS, 66 Fairlane 500 XL Convertible, 55 Packard Clipper Super, 58 Edsel Ranger, 72 Cheyenne Super, many 49-60 parts cars, abandoned "House Of Doom" full of 49-60 parts. Huge piles of engine parts, brackets, tin, Hydramatic & Jetaway parts,  thousands of stainless moldings, dozens of perfect sedan doors.

More Pictures. This shows the only flaw on the pair. See the bottom molding. The very rear 1 inch has a small area of tiny scratches, just an inch long and barely showing. This did not crease the molding, it can be polished off on the wheel in minutes.

John,

Just ebay them and see what they bring.

$1500.00 may be a little strong, but ebay will give you worldwide exposure.  You will need to ship them in a PVC tube or make a rigid container, and they will be oversized for UPS, so you need to figure shipping carefully.

Good luck,

Brian

Brian, I've sold thousands and thousands of Caddy parts on Ebay. Some parts you just don't ebay, and these are them. Reason is, with a 10 day listing, you may not find a buyer needing these at the moment and they may sell for $50. The following week a fellow will bellow because he missed the auction. You also don't sell cranks, heads, blocks, doors, hoods because they go for $40 even if mint due to the weight. That stuff I store until someone NEEDS them. These 60 coupe/convertible quarter moldings may take a year to sell, but being so mint and rare these will not be ebayed. All Cads quoted me $1000 for ONE if he had one, he's the biggest Caddy parts house in the world and he has no good ones. So $1500 is 3/4 his price for a pair IF he had them. I am known as the best shipper on Ebay, not 1 damaged part out of thousands.

John,

Whatever you think is best.  I have not sold much on ebay lately, but have a lot of stuff stacking up around here.  I always start my auctions low, and use a reserve, so I can't end up with less than I want.

Good luck,

Brian

PS....will they work on your camper? >:D

No, they made the cut right below where these moldings would have went. I wonder who got these Caddy arse ends back then? Likely sold them to a Caddy dealer?? If I didn't care about the value of these I could mount them on the side of the camper, and paint the rest of the missing rear body on it as was suggested. And the rear bumper on the Coupe is flawless, [front too] looks like I could mothers polish it and it will look like new. How about mounting that too?? I don't know what to do with this camper, but with the bumpers, nice hood, and other 60 stuff around here, I could do a quickee bondo and paint, hang the chrome and have a wierdmobile.

Ok, I'm testing the market on these 99 inch long mint 60 Caddy coupe/convertible quarter moldings. I listed them at $1500,  3/4 the big guys price. I'll drop the price to $1200, which is 60% of the big guys price, and stay there. If someone has a fabulous 60 Coupe or convertible but has damaged quarter moldings, then I feel $1200 to ice the cake is justified. And I guarantee, these are the nicest pair available in the known universe. I'll squeeze these in the coffin before selling them for less.
