Not sure what happen to my first post, but here goes.  The windows on my "87" sixty special are all really slow going up.  The car did sit for five years.  Should I try to fix the problem or is it time to replace the motors?  I am finding that parts are getting harder to find.

Thanks,
Rob

The first thing I would do is spray silicone lubricant into the window channels on window edges. Sometimes they just get tight. That might help a little or it might be all that's needed.

If that doesn't work and you take the door panels off, lubricating the mechanisms might work. Sometimes the grease hardens up or gets full of crap. Clean out all the gunk and put new grease on the mechanism.

low voltage could be a factor,  is the charging system at 14v running?
