Cadillac body tag???

Hello all
I just picked up as far as I can tell, a 32 Cadillac 3window coupe. I tryed using data site but my tag is missing the dashes and 1's. The cowl tags are a Fisher coach, Cadillac motor company and body tag. Body tag is as follows 32678 Body 85. The tag should read 32-16-178 ????. Is it possable that the factory made a mistake on the tag???? Any help on this issue would be helpful.

A 32-678 would be a Lasalle coupe.  345B
