My 74 Eldo with 20k miles finally needs a top. The darn stitching is coming apart. Has anyone replaced their top and if so, was the binding correct. Originally the binding was vinyl, while the top was pinpoint. Also , for the back glass, does the replacement glass with the heated lines original LOF and have the insignia in the middle or aftermarket without the insignia? If not I was thinking of sending my glass to know ever makes the correct top with the CORRECT off white material and binding and have them attach a new piece to my old glass. The process I know is vulcanized so they can cut off the old material and they can vulcanize new material to the old glass. Please help
