Hello,
I have had electric fuel pumps on my cars and always add a push / pull cut off switch  so the pump can be turned off at any time .  My question is where is the best place to tap into the electric system .  I purchase a car about 5 years ago and it was tapped into  the resister ballist on the fire wall .  Any advice will be greatly Appreciated .

Any key on 12v/6v source that does not carry high loads to another circuit is good, over size wire is appropriate for a long distance hook up.
