Awesome car!!  Yes, that door will probably bounce back out with a hit from the inside of the doorpanel with the ball of your hand.  You may end up with a couple of smilies in the paint at the top and bottom, but that dent will be mostly gone.

Did you get the fender skirts?  It looks like most of the turn signal/brake light lenses are in decent shape.  That's a win!  You'll probably want to drop a little PBBlaster or Liquid Wrench on the accessory adjustment nuts and bolts and let it sit for a week.  Then attempt to replace the belts and hoses.  Give the accessories a spin when you pull the belts off to check to see if you have to go deeper.

The water pump seals will probably be dry and leak like a sieve, but if it spins, you may want to use it initially to circulate the water and flush out all the dead spiders and rodents.   :o

Looks like a fun project.  It looks like a pretty solid start.

Skirts are in the trunk along with misc. trim pieces, eldo tail light v. hood wing crests. drivers door panel etc. and some nos. Cadillac parts still in the cadillac wrappers. Thanks.

Your pics came up while typing my earlier post. What a shame the car was stored in such a damp environment. A little bit of climate control could have made all the difference. It's certainly a quandry where to go from here. Best of luck with it however you decide to proceed.

A heated building would have been nice but it really is not that bad considering it sat in  a 1 car garage in Milwaukee for all those years. Pulled the backseat and the floors look nice.

Is this the 59 Biarritz that was parked since 1965 in Brooklyn, NY? I looked at it but couldn't justify the going price at the time. Congratulations.

Shouldn't be that many doors, but at least he will get some exercise.
