The little black seal on the thermo strips do not close tight leaking a little air.  I replaced the cork gasket.  A  leake here can upset the idle any time.  Does any one know of a place i can get a new one?

Not knowing the year or style , I would check with this place or Google the carb model.
Cant say that I am familiar with that.
