Joe Gildea #3736

Mileage: 15,000 on complete rebuilt engine, transmission, carb, cooling, generator and brakes.
How many owners: I believe I am the 3rd. I have owned it since the early 80s. It was originally owned by a rancher woman in the Dakotas or one of those northern states.
Running: It ran excellent  when I garage stored it in the 90s, started it often until around 2010.  Has not been run since than.
Registered: It has been on a Non-Op registration since then.
Model: 6239.
Asking price: Make offer.
Where is the car located: Huntington Beach California.
Air Conditioning:  Factory.
Does everything Work: Original radio was working, air worked, electronic eye was working, needs all new rubber hoses, brake cylinder rubber and most likely any exposed rubber as it has been sitting many years and rubber has rotted.
ID Plate:  58K026781
I spent over $10,000 on the drive train in the 1980s had all the seats re-stitched, new cooling system, fuel pump, generator, brakes, carb, all work was done by GM specialist In Costa Mesa Ca. Transmission was rebuilt by a specialist  from the factory  that built those cars in 58.  Car ran and drove like a dream, I had low compression piston installed and rebuilt so it ran perfect on regular gas. Carb was rebuilt by a master carb shop. I have an extra trunk lid with only light surface rust included This was my family car in the 80's I put 15,000 pleasure miles but found with young children I needed a more modern car with up to date safety features. I stored it in my garage and started it often, in 2011 I lost my house and was forced to put it in storage. Have not started it since then.
I love this car and only interested in selling because I can not bear to see it sitting.
Thanks,
Fred Harris
