Cragar Star Wire 30 Spoke 15 x 7's...

Hi, I am looking for a set of 4 Cragar Star Wire 30 Spoke Wheels, 15 x 7" I realize very few of these are perfect after all these years out of production, but I'd prefer a set that does NOT need re-chroming (unless the purchase price was advantageous, then no prob as I have local re-chrome shops available).

They should be in best condition [possible though as far as  curb rash and/or pot-hole cracks/dents, rust, etc. These would go on a RWD 1979 Seville, uni-lug Cragar is OK, I can buy the 20 lugs and washers if need be.

BTW, I am not interested in tires. But... if they come with them, I don't want them to be part of the price unless they were new, or couple hundred miles, same as new Vogue 235/70/R15's

If anyone has a set of these wheels and wants to discuss, please PM me and we can take it to a phone conversation. I am flexible on pricing as long as it is in line with those I have seen go by online over past few years. Willing to drive to pick up if reasonable distance, or talk about shipping options if not.

There are 3 sets on Ebay now. That I saw today all expiring in next 2-3 days.

Hi Sheldon, thanks for the reply... I have already investigated a National Craigslist search & Ebay as well. I made several phone calls and there are issues with each set that inhibit the purchase. or they are already gone.

The sad thing is, I had arranged for a purchase this morning, just 12 miles away from my home, the perfect set of wheels AND brand new Vogue tires in the correct size... the seller sold them out from under me late Friday nite and I found out when I went to pick them up this morning.

We had an appointment, a 3-day conversation, and a tentative agreement. The way I was raised, I never would have done something like this, I'm just not capable of it. ughhh.

Sadly, times and people have changed, and... not for the better. What a lack of integrity... The 2nd buyer should have been told of the pending appointment next moring and a call back to buy if I said no-go. But...  these days= ALL about the $$ ASAP  who cares about integrity, passions, people or anything else.

At any rate, thanks for letting me vent this out.  So, once again, if anyone has a solid lead on these, I would greatly appreciate it.  Mark~
