I pulled off the rusty exhaust manifolds on my '39 V 8 to get them re-coated and it looks like the intake and exhaust manifold gaskets are all one piece.  Do I need to pull the intake manifold also in order to replace exhaust manifold gaskets ?   It doesn't look like a big job to pull the intake but i assume i would need to drain the cooling system?

any insight from experienced Cadillac mechanics would be appreciated.

You have to pull the intake and no need to drain coolant.
