75 Eldo window regulator

My driver side window goes up partially then stops.  After looking at it the teeth on the regulator are missing for half of the regulator.  Who sells window regulators and is this window under lots of spring pressure whe I go to remove it. Thanks for any help.  Tony

I did my 78 Eldo about a year or two ago. The motor broke, and I got one online.
I did not take the window out. I dont think there was a spring if I can remember. I just cut a stick and propped the window up with that. Then I had to drill holes to take the motor out. There is a diagram in the book where to drill the holes. I dont quite know about the regulator though.
