37 LaSalle radio removal

How does one remove the radio control head from the dash of a 1937 LaSalle?

I have been up in there with a mirror, and can't see any way from the back.

On the front, there is no obvious way to remove the knobs.  I don't want to break anything.

Helps if you put your glasses on.

There are some small set screws on the sides of the knobs that I did not see when I first looked.
