Fought for 3 hours trying to mount 1 new tire on 19" split rims.  I have the rim tool.  Got so far as having rim, tube and tire together, but could not spread rim out far enough to reconnect.  Tried about every position with rim tool pushing in various places to no luck.  Worn out.  Is there a trick I"m missing or a different way of doing this?
