IF it is a battery box cover for a 1940, and IF a 1940 would fit my 39 Lasalle, I would potentially be interested.  The cover I have doesn't seem to belong,  but I'm not sure what the proper one looks like.

Hello Bob, That is not the cover for the 1940 50 series Lasalle. I'm not sure of other '40 series or '39.
