I've had the car for 3 months now and I'm really happy.  I've been spending every night in the garage (and that's fine with the wife).  Brakes are working good.  Originally had problems with front wheel cylinders.

Thinking about a front disc conversation.  Looking at OPGI, Scarebird and CaddyDaddy.

Anyone have suggestions ?  I want to stick with my stock wheels (I've read this is sometimes an issue)

I don't know any specifics about a 64 but stock wheels and covers is often the biggest issue.    First question would be does the 64 wheel cover fit later disc era wheels?   If so then that is an easy fix.   The drum era wheels tend to have an extra step in them and that tends to interfere with the calipers.

I have used Scarebird a few times and they brackets seem well made and have always fit as advertised.  The other thing I really like about them is they just tell you what common parts to buy.   Some brands you have to get replacement from them even though they are likely common parts.   I worked on one system were the pads took 2 weeks to get and were almost $200 with shipping.   To me looked like $29 pads that were likely in stock at my local store if I knew what to ask for.

I went with these guys:

Orange, CA

Pg 113 of their catalog

Installed the front discs, but never did get the dual circuit booster finished.

The brakes are way better than they were, with wonderful feel and even braking, compared to the old cruddy drums.  The kit fits inside the 15" commercial wheels.

Will need to finish up, as there are parts that do important things:
Residual pressure valve for rear drums,
  Dual circuit is safe,
  Proportioning valve for "surprise-free" stops

Need to attend to the fuel tank and lines first.....
