Cape Cod Fleetwood

Posting probably the last 2 pics of The Ark for a while... just before the Breeders cup Classic Michael Amster texted me to send The Ark to the world famous Hyannis Vintage Auto in the morning. I'll be calling Hagerty Classic Cars for a flat bed transport bright and early, tows are free with The Ark's insurance policy. And I have to renew said policy this month, a staggering $171 for full coverage/value. Covered the interior with sheets that match the upholstery perfectly. Do you have any idea what I went through to find turquoise sheets in that exact shade... I know they'll be careful, I just don't want to vacuum and shampoo 49 year old upholstery more than I have to. I'm really excited the first phase of restoration is about to begin, I haven't owned The Ark for a full year yet, so much has happened. So many great memories of shows, so many new friends made, so many sleepless nights looking for parts. The Ark will be away from home for quite a while, I'll miss him, though I'm sure I'll have LIMITED visitation rights while he's in the shop. Right Mike? And I'll be eating "something Helper" until the spring but its all good, let's do this!
