Please let me know if you have one.  There are two on Ebay but I don't feel like spending 150 bucks.

What do you feel like?
I'll go down shop and see.    I got a brand new in the box, but not sure what # it is.  What year is it?
You can probably go to NAPA, etc. and get one that's not "correct" but will work.

This is for my 1937 LaSalle.  This same regulator was used on Buick's, Pontiac's, and Cadillacs according to the parts book I have.

Not. (8842)   Mine's later, 40s.
I didn't show that number in the interchange.   Lots of 82XXs but no 13 so that means a one year special rating or number is wrong.
The only VR differences are, the amp rating, number of and where the terminals come out otherwise any 6 V can be adapted if it's the right stuff.   They adjust.
I say $150 is probably a good price, if NOS/in the can, if it's a special.
If your's is bad, it might be repairable.   Check w/ auto electric shop.

ps: If I get time I'll look up '37 laSalle P/Ns.   Too busy today.

Yeah saw that one.  If I hadn't just bought a bunch of NOS RCA 6973 tubes I'd be picking that up.

Cars or Guitars, you can't have both!  >:D  Offer him $50.00, he'll counteroffer you, and you'll wind up at $75.00, and that's a great price for an NOS VR. Bite the Bullet and Put the Guitar down for a few weeks.....
