One of my two Delco Remy horns is not working and its the Hi one.  Looking for a NOS Hi horn for my ‘75 Eldorado

If you cannot find one, then you could try and repair your own.

Not hard, as most times the internals are filled with crud, which impeded the operation of the diaphragm.

I repaired a couple in my '72 Eldo.

Thanks for the tip Bruce.  Didn’t know you could do that.  Going to give that a try.

What you do is carefully mark which parts face each other and with a drill, carefully drill out the rivets, using a drill that is just wide enough to release the folded parts of the rivets, and carefully pull it apart, noticing that there are two paper gaskets between each side of the metal diaphragm.

When I put mine back together, I used copper brake shoe rivets to replace the originals.

You could use small bolts and nuts, but it wouldn't look original.   BUT, using temporary Nuts and bolts will allow you to test it before riveting.

Appreciate the additional information Bruce.  Going to give it try hopefully this weekend.  Thanks again for your help

I actually moved the screw on the outside of the horn that controls the speed of the diaphragm and opens and closes the contacts.  I moved the screw the all the way in and out a few times and then tested the horn.  The contacts must have been stuck and now the horn works perfectly.  Didn’t even have to open it up!  Thanks again for the suggestions

Congratulations.

Another successful saving of a valuable part.
