1956 tail light assembly gas fill side

Unfortunately I sold all my part including this one, but now I am helping a friend paint and fix up his 1956 convertible and driver side tail light assembly is pretty wobbly and worn. I am looking for a nice and tight spring lift mechanism for that side to make that a better functioning part for him. His piece is already re-chromed so the appearance is not important at all, just looking for the mechanism portion to be tight. Thanks for any help.
