Convertible Top Boot Color

I recently acquired a 1966 Eldorado Convertible with original colors of Crystal Firemist exterior and black bucket seat interior.  The convertible top color interestingly was ivory (white).  A subsequent owner changed the convertible top to black.  With an original white convertible top my question is what was the color of the boot?

Would it have been black to match the interior or was there a white one?  Or were there no colors to choose from.  I am an avid collector and an interested n knowing from the experts their opinion.
