I know Antique Auto Battery closed in 2018 and apparently the assets were purchased and the name changed to Jim's Battery Manufacturing.

Has anyone had any dealings with Jim's Battery lately? Their website seems to be suspicious in that it's generic and mentions nothing about Antique reproduction batteries.

I need a retro style battery for my 1958 Cadillac.

Does anyone have any suggestions. Thanks!

You might try these guys:

If I recall correctly, the were both getting the
batteries from the same place.  The last time
I purchased from Jim's Battery was about 2 yeas
ago.

Try looking on the Jegs website.  They have Turbo Start Classic batteries that might work for your application.

John, do you have a failed reproduction battery? I have 'dummied' those utilizing the desired case

Yes William I have a failed reproduction battery. Problem is the 1958 Cadillac is no longer in Arizona for you to dummy it.

I have ordered a new reproduction battery from Battery Central.

On the Battery Central website it states that the "battery is available". What they don't say until after I ordered it is that the battery will take 14-19 weeks to produce.
