1996 Seville SLS Emergency Brake Vacuum Release Repair

Our mechanic states he cannot obtain the correct replacement part to repair the emergency/parking brake release because they are no longer available. He doesn't know the exact name of the faulty part but describes it as a vacuum diaphram assist/servo. Does anyone know who might have this part and its correct name?

My wife did have a '95 Seville as a daily driver for
years although we no longer have it.  If I remember
correctly the vacuum unit can be seen under the dash
attached to the parking brake mechanism. 
You should check to insure that the vacuum line is
connected OK and the line is not broken or leaking.
