Has anyone succeeded installing an hitch. Probably no bolt on hitch on the market, so curious about creative solutions. Thanks,

Trailer shops can usually custom make a hitch for most any car.  Had one custom made for my '73 Caribou.

I have a custom made hitch on my 73 Eldo.   It bolts on using existing holes.   I'm not sure if this would be the same on a 67 but it did seem like there were usually extra holes in the frame that could be used.    If there isn't extra holes there would likely be existing things bolted in so perhaps those bolts could be replaced with longer bolts and the hitch could be just stacked in along with what ever else was bolted to the frame.

I made my own "hitch" for my '72 Eldorado, and used the Bumper Bar to Frame bolt holes to attach it, using longer bolts.

If one is handy with a welder and a few basic tools, it is not difficult to do.

Then there is the trailer wiring harness to construct.

U-Haul's web page says that they will make one to order.  Apparently they still have the patterns for the older cars.  The page says:

"Please note:
U-Haul is the only known company with a hitch that will fit your vehicle. However, these trailer hitches are built as ordered, so please allow 6 - 8 weeks to complete the manufacturing process."

Let us know if you try U haul.    I would think these days you would want a receiver type of hitch but back then especially before the impact bumpers many hitches were more or less just a bar bolted to the bumper.
