Hi Oliver,
Thank you for the compliment, we greatly appreciate the feedback.
They are Firestone. 6.50X19 balloon tire, original size to the car and the authenticity specs. Below is a picture of the spare for you to zoom in on.

What are the factory specs for inflation on these tires?  I recall my parents' '56 had tires that were described in those days as "balloon tires," and the recommendation for inflation was in the low 20 psi range.  What constitutes the moniker "balloon?"

Gary and I attended our 1st CLC Grand National in June with our 1930 Lasalle after completing our 6 year restoration journey, and what a great experience we had.

One of the line items on the judging form was for windshield wipers, we knew going into judging, we would lose 3 points as we never hooked the lines up as we were confident the original Visionall vacuum system would not work and we were told even when they were new, they gave trouble.

Ooh,la,la,Lasalle, today after Church we decided to tinker around with our car and hook up the wipers as we want them working before next years event. So after a bit of work (hardest part was fitting between the steering column, front seat and positioning to see under the dash) everything was ready to test. Since our thoughts were, it's not going to work, we just connected to a small vacuum pump versus cranking the car..... would you believe......oh Yes, they actually work!
