I'm doing archaeology on the several 53s I'm restoring.
Presently restoring exhaust hangers and want to know about the last hanger that is held in place by bumper/chassis bolts.
The original remnants have a 1/8 rubber that the exhaust pipe went through. Presumably a square with a 2 inch hole???
Anyone got a clear idea?
Also appears that there is another 1/8 rubber separator between the upper and lower sections of the bumper. 1931E264-E230-4712-A0F5-0E49A0518A7F.jpegF6AC5D7A-C2BD-421D-8199-0E0050B7D195.jpegF6AC5D7A-C2BD-421D-8199-0E0050B7D195.jpeg0C351B93-4FF9-4016-A097-C6D53B8CD4AD.jpeg

This is what I think it should be. I still need to zinc plate the L brackets. ( not in pic).

My guess was correct. Confirmed by my mate Robert Mooney who has a spare NOS one lying around.
