HOW MUCH FUN IS THIS?  ENDICOTT ESTATE!

Well, not much fun early. Only 4 hours sleep to the "WTP-thirty" alarm, then the first part of the 90 minute drive was foggy and drippy. Annoying as it makes others drive too slowly. WX finally improved around Deluxebury and we could resume 75+ with the AC on for this warm and humid morning cruise. Arrived just before 9am, perfect, and went right to work primping The Ark. An hour and 10 minutes later he was perfect and I was soaking wet, hot and dehydrated. Thankfully it stayed pretty cloudy all day or it would have been really ugly. Glad I had 5 bottles of PowerAde BLUE on ice and 2 bottles of water for the ride home.

Photo of Steve Huntington with The Ark presenting me with a key case from the Norwood Automobile Company. Steve's grandfather sold The Ark new to James Hallet, Steve would take over the dealership the following year. He remembers The Ark, how cool is that?

The Ark was "Best Of Show" here last year, I'm still not over that. This year a very competitive 2nd place
finish in Class 3, 1960-1970, that's a pretty wide net and there were some stellar cars there in that age
group. Winner was George Starr's perfect 65 SDV, he has like 20 cars now, jeez! He's going to Gettysburg,
undecided which perfect Caddy he'll DRIVE there. He lives in, Maine. His car is at 1:18 in the video below.

I am thrilled with that 2nd place trophy, so proud of The Ark, there were some really really nice cars there.
And there were a LOT of Caddy's there too. Unfortunately in was late in the day when I finally did a live video and posted it to FBook. Take a gander of what was left. How I wanted that hearse to be Best Of Show, LOL! A very deserving '54 Eldo (2:01 in the video) instead took the big trophy. AND a member of my local generic car club on the Cape was there with his Caddy, he got some hardware too, how cool is that?

This trip home is the "death ride" I've been praying for. Hot, humid, horrible, AC on full blast, lots of speed then HEAVY, stop and go traffic at The Split and on Route 3 south. For MILES. Then back up to 80mph, then back down to bumper to bumper approaching The Bridge with The Ark always in the left lane tugging at the reins. With the AC on full blast. If this new cooling/AC system doesn't fail today it never will. And it didn't. YES! And I was clocking 12mpg driving like an idiot in the heat, I'd say Michael has this car dialed in? Mhm...

The Ark was wiped off, plugged in, and kissed on the hood emblem when put back to bed home in The Lair, good car baby, good car. His floor fan is on full time and the windows cracked until this humidity breaks. #TheArk #ArkNRoll #HowMuchFunIsThis
