1958 Eldorado Broughman, when i got this car the fuel lines were disconnected and they had a rubber hose going to carb, vehicle been sitting since early eighties. now i am at the point after making new fuel lines, having tank cleaned, replacing pump in tank however i have been researching the fuel filter and cannot find a picture of one and looks like this may be impossible to find, wondering if anyone had a picture of one and if they knew of one for sale. at this point i amthinking of getting a generic fuel filter from parts store and not sure if it would cause any issues with the 365 ci 3 carb set up.

thanks Tim

The eldorado brougham was unique and did not have a mechanical fuel pump,
it was electric in tank,
also a low fuel level warning light.

Air conditioning was a standard feature on the brougham.

At $13,074 it was the least they could do 🤣✅

If you are restoring a Brougham, you should absolutely have the specificE.B parts list.
On this list, I see that the fuel filter assembly was the same 1957/58, part 854441, which was specific for the brougham.
I'm attaching a picture from my own '57 Brougham which I sold some years ago. The fuel filter is most probably in the same position for 1958.
As David King has a 58 Brougham, he may help you, maybe he has spare parts.

The '58 Brougham has a different bracket to suspend the fuel filter.  The fuel filter is unique for the Brougham.  Looks like a standard A/C version, but the top boss does not have a port, just threaded to hold the filter.

Mike Brooks did a great job of scanning most EB documents.  If you go to eldoradobrougam.com, he scanned my 58 master parts list.  Here is the link.

Interesting, David: I have the edition published July first, 1960. Some illustrations, like the 1957 and 1958 fuel pumps, were published in a different sequence...

The EB MPL in 59 and 60 de-contented most carry over, standard Cadillac content.  You have to use both master parts list books for those years to find what you are looking for, very inconvenient.  Those books did add more images, like the air suspension compressor.
