Intake manifold gaskets the same for 331 and 429?

On my '54 series 62 I have an exhaust leak and I am guessing it is on the intake crossover (as I cannot feel any feal around the exhaust manifold, although it is hard to see).
Are the intake manifold gaskets the same for a 331 and a 429? Will it fit?
On pictures it looks the same, but there are no dimensions mentioned so hard to tell.

I don't know that era specifically but here is the listing from Rock Auto for a 63. It is strange that you can see it listed as fitting when you look up later cars but it doesn't list them if you look at the older cars.  Generally computers catch that sort of thing.

Is the odd year spread just due to when those models were available?

Well,
I still have a pair in stock which are fine. As I was browsing on Rockauto to order parts for the '66 Eldordao zI am working on, I figured I'd check for intake manifold gaskets for the '54 as well (as I have a strong suspicion that there is an exhaust leak at the crossover on the intake manifold). It seemed odd to me as well, but it appears that the same manifold gaskets can be used for the 331, the 365, 390 and the 429. I guess that they changed the lay out in '68 with the 472. And I think you are right mr. Hopland. The period basically spans 1949 to 1967.

From the parts book, there is a great variety and different part numbers (10!). If you rely on Rockauto to determine if parts are the same, you'll get trouble!

Yes they are the same. It's strange how Cadillac would advertise in some of their literature that they improved the intake flow of the engine to increase horsepower, when yet the intake manifolds for our cars are pretty much the same from 1949-66? So how was their argument justified?

I think I could use the intake manifold from my '64 Cad, and use it on my '54. They look identical. It's also pretty crazy how much power Cadillac was able to crank out with such a small intake manifold compared to other big block engines of the day which had far larger manifolds. Even compared to modern V8's, these old Cadillac intake manifolds seem tiny.

Interesting.  Those numbers are for just the 2 gaskets or are those for some sort of set?  If its a set I could see other parts of the set being different.  Materials maybe?

I would assume we would not be surprised if it was 49-62 and 63-67 since that was the family split.  I suppose its really based on the bore spacing.  Guess they were thinking big early if they didn't have to increase it in the 60's when things were growing.

Oups! Forget what I wrote, wrong line (intake manifold)...Effectively, the parts book say that from 1949 to 1967 the intake manifold gaskets are the same, part # 1453393, group 3.270.
