Please view the post in the Forum Support forum, it has a poll about making a dark mode (i.e. dark color screens instead of bright white) available. This can be of interest for those that access the forums from a mobile device as dark screens use less battery power. But we need to know whether enough people want this before investing the time to install an extra mode.

that's a nice find; is there any manufacturing information anywhere on the case itself?

When I was working in my son-in-law's clock shop, we had one or two of these show up. I don't believe there was any connection to GM. They could use the name Cadillac as it was the name of Antoine de la Mothe Cadillac, and as such was in the public domain.

It is Bakelite. There is no manufacture information on it.

Steve,

Inquiring minds need to know - does the clock work and keep good time.
And if possible, would you supply us with a photo of the back of the clock and its electric cord and plug.

Have fun,
Steve B.

The clock does not work, it is currently at a shop that repairs clocks.

Very cool...and just like most of the clocks in our classic Cadillacs, it doesn't work either! LOL!

There are plenty of replacement clock mechanisms
available, along with hands and faces.  My 62
clock worked (and still does today) after I put
in a digital display.  Rotary dial, digital, or
even projection are economical, preferred here
are those set to perfect time by radio signal
WWVB, typically with battery power have no cord.
