Or recommend a rebuilding service.   For a 1940 LaSalle, 346, 346 flywheel but a 322 bell housing.

I found a shop in Schenectady, NY called Con Rel Auto Electric Inc. that will rebuild the starter, they also do generators.  They can be reached at 518.356.1646
