I have a 1955 coupe deville 6237dx. It has the two four barrel carbs(elderdo motor) all opptions including leather seats. the only thing it doesnt have it AC. It was a specal order. the body number and the trim have the same number. I know there were 33300 6237dx produced that year but how many were ordered with the elderado moter and all the option that I have.
Ive been to and talk to many people and I havent seen another 55 cadillac with all these options. I think there is not many out there and would like to find out how rear it is.  Does anyone know or can help me find out????? Please write me at cadikid1@aol.com

        Thank you

I dont believe that kind of detail is available ...without going through each and every build sheet for 1955.  My guestimate is that fewer than 10percent of buyers would have gone for the full package.  So you may be talking of 3,000 cars or less.

Yann, that is interesting.  My 56 6219 has all the options except the trunk release / pull down.  However the sedan series 62 was a very popular model so I am guessing that mine is not as rare.  Tony, sounds like you have a marvelous car there.  Good luck with it!
