I have a 54 Cadillac in my shop that is having troubles with the wipers. The vacuum hose was disconnected and when i connect it they come on and wont go off. There is another hose going to some sort of valve or something that has a short cable to the motor. When it is unhooked the wipers will go off with the switch but will stop where ever you turn them off. With it hooked up they run faster but will not turn off. I have had no experience with this set up and would appreciate if someone could tell me how this system works or knows where i can find a diagram of how it is supposed to be hooked up. Thanks.
