Hello,I am in the middle of a frame off restoration on my 1955 fleetwood.I will be placing a 390 motor in it.I need to know if the right and left exhaust manifolds are inter changable? I know the pass.side has the generator bracket on it.I just need to do it for clearance.Thanks,G.Lucas.

Firstly, no, as the Outlets are in different locations

And, the Left one has attaching points for the Power Steering Pump if they are from a 59 or 60 390.

If you run the Right Hand manifold on the Left, then the mounting points will be at the back of the engine. and the outlet will surely be in the wrong position.

I am not sure what the 61 and 62 390s use, but I dont think they have Accessories attached to the Manifold on the Left Side.

Thanks Bruce for your assistance. I will have to get custom headers made. G.L.
