1960 Flywheel removal

So I told my eng rebuilder that I have a vibration in the car  that I thought might be in the eng. So he asked me to remove the flywheel and flexplte and he wood send them out to be balanced. So I took off the 8 nuts from flywheel and it wouldnt budge.So what Im asking is does the flywheel come off separatly or must the converter come out with it.

For 61 it is a fluid coupling not a torque converter. It does not remove easy. And no real flywheel.

Twice I had to use brute force to remove that flywheel because the company which overhauled the transmissions used a cement to seal the flywheel. On the other transmisions I overhauled, I had to be a bit persuasive to let the flywheel coming out.
Of course, all nuts must be removed, but let two to avoid that the flywheel is droping on the floor. And be ready to catch the fluid which is behind!
