Does anyone know of a filter made today that will "suffice"? Maybe there is a way to adapt a present day element to fit.

I was looking for something else at Summit Racing and tried the 59 filter.

They claim that a 14.0 Inch(OD ?)filter that is 3.0 high ,will work.

   The height is right.

The Diameter is over 2 inches smaller than most makers. It would mean an inside Diameter of
about 12.0 inches, 1 13/16 smaller than the specs.  And no red or black gasket , hanging out, but it mite work.

Can someone measure what the inner diameter can be on a car?  Before someone buys one that won't fit.

Best bet is to find the old Wix ones or a NOS.  So far the NOS I sourced works wonderfully.  Hit 100 today on the freeway heading home.
