I know the Harrison cooler mounts to the flange of the transmission pan. I also know one fluid tube connects to the side of the transmission case. Does the other tube connect to a fitting on the side of the transmission pan or is there another port?  I don't have access to crawl under mine to look at the connections so this is why I'm asking. Thanks in advance for the replies.

Just curious--

I didn't think the 55 had a cooler. Is it an Eldorado thing like the carbs? And/or is the Harrison cooler an aftermarket mod?

Thanks

Indeed, only Eldorado models had a transmission cooler.

1955 Cadillacs with dual Rochester carburetors had the Harrison transmission coolers and the commercial chassis also had the transmission coolers.
