Hi folks, I have heard horror stories about getting this pin out to remove the shaft so I can replace the seal on the shifter shaft. I cannot understand why the manual says to "bend it" when it so clearly appears to remove straight down. Am I overlooking something? If you have removed this pin with success please share how you did it. I do NOT want to break it in the case. Thanks!341931862_606646754725771_6244568738934816231_n.jpg

I need to do mine too soon.  Did you find a way to pull it straight out?

Mine broke off - feel pretty screwed right now. Any ideas how to remove that? It broke so close off to the Alu case that I can't grab it any more - what a shit piece of engineering!
