Hi Folks,
I just joined this site. My neighbor is retired and has decided to sell hi Cadillac and asked me to help him. I have quickly learned from my friends that this may not be easy since it is from 1974. So I am asking for your advice.
Ask me any questions and I will find out details.
The car is a 1974 Fleetwood, GM 502/472 cu in, 80,000 miles, 4 door, silver with perfect black vinyl top, all OEM, one tiny scratch, polished, garage kept, immaculate, run weekly, AC, AMFM/ 8 Track, power steer/brakes, leather seats, it looks like a show car from what I have seen on club sites. I think they have all service receipts.

Anyone can advise me on wholesale/retail price value? Where is best to list for sale? etc.
We live in Princeton, NJ.

Thank you.....Steve

Steve, Check Manheimgold.com for prices. That will give you a starting point. In the end, it is what it is worth to a buyer and what the seller wants. Good luck. Herb Fearn 21704

Pet peeve but it is a 472 engine.  502 is just the emissions sticker number.

Thank you all for your advice and I have a good responce from other clubs also. I think the Cadillac would be rated as excellant and the value has a $10-15k spread from my research. I will check out appraisal firms next week.

Any recommendations? (near Princeton NJ?)

Thanks....Steve

I hate to say it buy I think you are about 3 times too high in price.  But I do wish you the best of luck and I hope I'm wrong.

2 years ago I had a MINT 8,000 mile original 73 Fleetwood Brougham. Although it was Brown with Cloth interior, it was a near flawless original untouched car.
Anyhow, I had a tough time selling and I ended up giving it away for $12K.
