I had a set of eldorado mats but did not like the way they fit. Looking for a nice set of oem rubber mats or good reproductions.

Are the "mats" you're looking for going to be used in an Eldorado?

I'm asking because the 54-56 Eldo's didn't have floor mats in the usual
sense.  They used anodized aluminum plates (2 front, two rear on the 55-56, 2
front on the '54) that were grooved with rubber inserts.  They were bolted to
the floor.  There were no "mats" as seen in other styles.

People will be glad to sell you floor mats, with a Cadillac crest and tell you
they are correct -- but they are not in these cars.

I just sold a set of the eldorado mats, I did not like the way they fit. I saw a set rubber mats in a 56 that was for sale, they fit well and did not look to be after market. They must have made some kind of mats for the other models besides eldorado.
