Hi,
Can anyone tell me what color / finish was originally on the brake master cylinder of a 1970 Eldorado?
Thanks,

Gold/anodized, the 69 in my shop is an original Moraine.

I think that there was two brands used on the cars; one was gold and the other black.

As far as I know, either one is no longer available from most supply houses.

Yeah the Bendix was black but I believe they were only used for boosters.

I mis-read the question, sorry.  I read master and was thinking booster.

The master cylinder (not the booster) was plain cast iron with the removable
top gold cad.

Eastwood makes a good paint (in a spray can) that duplicates the look of the
cast iron finish for many parts and it is easy to use.  It keeps the original look without
the rust.
