Has anyone had any experience with what it takes to export a classic Cadillac to Europe?  What kind of hoops must one jump through, besides simply making shipping arrangements with a freight company?

Are you sending or receiving?  When I sold my '71 Cadillac on eBay to a gentleman in Germany he made all the shipping arrangements, as was stipulated in my eBay auction, through an agent here in the U.S. .  I did not have to do a thing except I agreed to deliver the car to a local truck stop where it was loaded on a car hauler and taken to New Jersey where it was loaded on a ship.  Little help here I guess.

A friend of mine has sent many cars to Sweden, but I believe the buyer also arranged the shipping.

We're East Coast, so everything left from Philly or New York.

I'll see who they dealt with.
