Richard - thanks for taking the time to respond to my post . Glad you enjoyed the photos . Once I get the interior kit installed , I'll post some final photos . As for the 47 transmission : there are probably some standard ones out there , but all the 47 convertibles I've come across have been hydramatics . Regards , Paul...CLC #6876

Hi Paul: Congrats on your fine restoration and now it is time to enjoy your car. Looking at the frontal view as well as the last picture you posted, your fit of the hood to the fender and front door is outstanding. As I am sure you know, getting this fit requires finesse as well as plenty of patience.  You have a winner.   Have fun   Bill

Hi Paul,

Fantasic!.....And those pics don't do the car justice compared to the in person beauty.

I feel the same as to the colors and Your work is excellent! I Love colors and contrast. One of the things I hate about new cars is almost all the interiors are gray or black and almost every exterior is black, gray, silver or white, yuck.

Paul, Very nice. The color with the contrasting wheel treatment is a great look.     Harry

Bill I , Bill Y , Ralph & Harry - thank you  for responding . It's nice to know that others also appreciate the effort that goes into restoring these old cars . Now that I'm looking at these pictures , I'm chomping at the bit to get out there with the top down - and winter HASN'T EVEN STARTED ! Living in New England does have some pluses , but year round enjoyment of your old car is not one of them . Thanks again . .... Paul Tesone CLC # 6876
