Righto... may as well start typing something and keeping everyone up to date on where we are at.

I will try and post some pics as we go.  8)

First job was inspecting the car - this was done and she has definitely seen better days. So full body-off-frame resto was decided upon.  :-\

Job 1 - Pull out seats. Remove carpet. Remove sunvisor mounts and interior mirror. Remove headliner. Currently blue interior - this will be changed to white or black/white.
Job 2 - Remove alot of the stainless trim around the glass both inside and outside. This is still continuing. Bagging all screws and attaching bags to relevant trim pieces. Cracked windscreen in the process - but my insurer is going to provide a new one at no cost and no policy change - part of the policy...phew !
Job 3 - Remove exterior mirror and spotlights.
Job 4- Remove steering wheel... needed a puller...but the old girl eventually gave up the tiller. This will be sent to Pearlcraft for refinishing.

First pic is car before we started tear down.

Second pic is example of rust in drivers side floor.

Be prepared for a shock when you strip the paint off.    But, hopefully it won't be too bad.   But, with the floor that bad, I am pretty sure you will be finding a number of similar rustifications in the panels.

Someone has stripped off the side trim, and de-badged her and therefore filled all the holes before repainting it.

Bruce, I have sourced ALL the missing trim. This will go back on after she has had a new coat of paint (bare metal respray).

Here are some pics I took today on where I am at with stripping her.
