I am in the market for a pair of Vent Wing Window Frames and glass for my project.  I am also looking for  two sets of factory fender skits (1946 Series 62 club coupe and 1946 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible). Thanks.

George: For what it is worth, don`t pass up the opportunity to buy a single fender skirt as just a little and I mean just a little modification to the inner lip of the rear fender, you can use a left fender skirt on the right fender and vise versa. To tell if a skirt is for the right or left rear fender, lay the skirt down with the smooth side of the skirt facing up. The revolving latch bar bolt head and its location with the bolt head just below the bottom of the skirt is your key. If this latching bar bolt head is right of center then that skirt is a left skirt. If this revolving bar bolt head is to the left of center then that skirt belongs on the right rear fender.
Please look at the picture below and you see what I mean about determining which is a right or left skirt. The top skirt is a left skirt. As said before don`t pass up just buying one. These are my spare skirts and were bought at two different times. Anyone who owns a 42-47 Cadillac and I should also say a 41, should have a spare skirt. I have been on several tours where a sudden flat in a rear tire has caused the cap to come loose and this in turn can take out the skirt. If your quick enough you can get the skirt back before someone runs over it.    Have fun with your 46.    Bill
