31 Convertable Coupe

Wanted! Any top parts for a 31 covertable coupe including landau irons and any other parts any one has thanks Mark Patterson

Mark, does your car have the detachable side rail or is it without them? I cast all the parts for a ccp with out the detachable rails. Also cast the light switch base as well as the gears for the throttle. I also cast the throttle/light levers and the spider castings inside the steering wheel. If you have a list of what you are in need of, I'll let you know what I can provide.

Mark,
My research has shown that your car had the detachable side rails. Most likely a 31 only top. I think you need to find someone who will let you copy their top assy. Good luck.

Not all '31 ccp's had detachable irons. It's best to find you job number and the engine number to determine which type top you need.

I'm sure all of us want to help Mark obtain the correct top for his car. The correct top HAS the detachable rails. See the nice picture on page 157 of McCalls book. The only way the top can look like that is the side rails detach. The old style top was used on one V16 CC & the LaSalle CC. in 1931  & rested on top of the body.The new one year only body was used on V8 & V12 CC's. & the top went into a well. Mark, it would be nice to know if you have no top or just missing some parts.
