Like many, would like to buy a 53 Cadillac Convertible.  Driver condition would be ideal as want to surprise my wife on her birthday in a couple of years.  Figure I better start looking now.  Thanks in advance on any and all referrals.

That's a fantastic idea to surprise your wife with a 1953 Cadillac Series 6267X Convertible Coupe. Only 8,367 manufactured. The interior styling had seven beautiful choices of two-tone or solid colors. On a scale from one to six with six as a parts car and one as perfect, the range is $6000-$94000. As a point of information the Eldorado is double. There are only 49 currently listed in the 2014 CLC Directory.

I would suggest that you:
(1) Place a vehicle want ad in our Self Starter
(2) Attend the CLC Grand National in New York to make personal inquiries
(3) Acquire the Roy Schneider book on Cadillacs of the Fifties.
